Sponsor SOOK
SOOK is a pedal-powered Chesapeake blue crab. Four pilots pedal her 15 miles through Baltimore, into the harbor and through a sand pit, and she turns from blue to steamed orange to rainbow on the way. Families and friends build her on weekends. Sponsors pay for everything, so families don’t have to.

Pick your bushel
Crab houses sell by size. So do we. Parts and materials count at their retail price.
Where the money goes
Every dollar and every donated part is spent in this order. Safety first, always.
Good to know
🎨 Where logos goOn SOOK's painted name boards (both sides and the front, by her art plate), on crew shirts, and online. Never painted on the crab herself: our art lead keeps her looking like a real Chesapeake sook.
🧰 Parts countIn-kind parts and materials count at their retail price. Services count at the going rate. A discount counts as the money it saves us.
🏛️ AVAM rulesThe race is run by the American Visionary Art Museum. We're checking their rules on sponsor logos; anything they ask us to change, we change.
